Department Reminder 06/23/2026

Follow the Server Rules

Texas DPS logo

Good evening.

It has come to the attention of Command Staff that there has been an unacceptable increase in members violating main server rules. These infractions not only disrupt the quality of our roleplay but also result in unnecessary infractions within our department.

Please be advised of the following:

  • Rule Compliance: All members are expected to have a thorough understanding of the main server rules. Your status as a department member does not grant you immunity; in fact, it holds you to a higher standard of conduct.
  • Department Impact: When you receive an infraction on the main server, it negatively impacts the reputation of the Texas Department of Public Safety and reflects poorly on your commitment to this department.
  • Accountability: Moving forward, we will be monitoring these infractions closely. Continued failure to adhere to the main server rules will result in immediate internal disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the department.

We are here to provide high-quality, professional roleplay. Please ensure your actions reflect that goal every time you are in-game.

Department Update June 22, 2026

Crime Suppression Team

Crime Suppression Team logo

Good afternoon everyone, the Texas Department of Public Safety High Command Team would like to formally introduce a new team within the department: Crime Suppression Team!

The Crime Suppression Team is an elite, handpicked unit designed to combat organized and high-level criminal activity across Texas. Members of this team will be responsible for targeting high-profile offenders, disrupting major drug, weapon, and illegal trafficking operations, conducting proactive crime suppression operations, and maintaining a strong law enforcement presence in high-crime areas.

To ensure the highest standards of professionalism, communication, and coordination, all members will be carefully selected by the CST Command Team. As the unit continues to develop, we plan to maintain a roster of approximately 20 agents. To be considered, employees must currently serve within an investigative division, such as CID or Texas Rangers. This requirement ensures all members possess advanced investigative abilities, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.

How will I know if I was chosen?

  • You will be notified via DMs if you are chosen for a position within the team by either Colonel Lake or Chief, Hernandez.

Best regards,

Directive Effective Immediately

Figgis Profiling & Policy Updates

Good afternoon, Troopers.

Failure to follow this directive will result in disciplinary action, with a Warning or Strike as the minimum punishment, and may result in further consequences depending on the severity of the violation.

Effective immediately, you are no longer permitted to initiate interactions with Figgis unless they are actively committing a crime, have an active BOLO, or possess a valid warrant. Outside of those circumstances, refrain from contacting or stopping them and treat them as you would any other civilian. Personnel are directed to cease profiling Figgis, and high-priority stops without legitimate justification will not be tolerated.

Traffic stops or other enforcement actions may not be conducted solely because you recognize a vehicle, license plate, name, or have prior history with the individual. All stops and interactions must be based on a legitimate, observable violation or other valid legal justification. Previous encounters, assumptions, or out-of-character knowledge are not valid reasons for enforcement action.

If Figgis is believed to have violated server rules, a report ticket must be opened and handled by their High Ranks.

Best regards,

Emergency Ping Role Announcement

The Texas Department of Public Safety is introducing a new Emergency Ping role.

This feature has been used in the past and was extremely effective. The role will allow members to alert Bureau Command and Hi-Command at the same time in the event of an emergency.

Examples of situations where this role may be used:

  • Attempted raids
  • NSFW content
  • Promotion of scams
  • Bot malfunctions
  • Bannable offenses or serious misconduct

When using the role, members must specify the reason for the emergency ping. Any abuse of this role will result in disciplinary action, including a strike.
